Punto Ciego: Consideraciones en la era de la Imagen y el Hiperespectáculo é a dissertação de mestrado apresentada na Universidad del País Vasco/EHU em 2019. Partindo do conceito de blind spot, zona da retina sem receptores de luz preenchida automaticamente pelo cérebro, a investigação propõe uma reflexão crítica sobre as imagens contemporâneas: o que mostram e o que ocultam. Estruturada como um estudo interdisciplinar, articula referências da história da arte, teoria da comunicação e prática artística, propondo uma leitura plural e não linear das dinâmicas visuais na contemporaneidade.
Punto Ciego: Consideraciones en la era de la Imagen y el Hiperespectáculo is the master’s dissertation presented at the University of the Basque Country/EHU in 2019. Taking its title from the concept of the blind spot, the area of the retina with no light receptors filled automatically by the brain, the research proposes a critical reflection on contemporary images: what they show and what they conceal. Structured as an interdisciplinary study, it brings together references from art history, communication theory and artistic practice, proposing a plural and non-linear reading of contemporary visual dynamics.
